Charting your way forward

A good place to start is to review the current profile of your social and environmental initiatives and classify them according to their level of impact and commercial value, before forming a view of what you would like that profile to look like. It’s a good activity that sets the scene for:

  • Clarifying the purpose of your business
  • Forming or reviewing strategy
  • Identifying innovative products and business models
  • Attracting, developing and retaining talent
  • Improving returns on your existing social initiatives
  • Optimising the composition of your foundation partnerships
  • Creating value or win-wins with key stakeholder groups

The format for doing this could be keynote speaking, presenting or briefings to open up the discussion and get everyone on the same page through to applying the principles in master classes, workshops or tailored working sessions, or more specific facilitation, consulting and project work.
